V-Malaysia 2016 was an unforgettable event for us, more so because we were able to participate in a project extremely close to our hearts. With the launch of the HomePure RED, we promised to make a USD 20 donation for every purchase of this special edition water filter. This #VCON16, we were able to pool all of that money together and make a generous donation towards a Myanmar School Project.
The QNET Myanmar School Project will provide much needed assistance to a school that educates nearly 120 orphans from vulnerable income backgrounds. Currently, a large common area with no partitions or furniture is used by 8 different classes at the same time. This 'classroom' is in various stages of disrepair and during the destructive monsoon season, the roof leaks, making it very difficult for the students to use it. With the money raised through your purchase of HomePure RED water filters, 8 separate classrooms with sturdy roofs will be built. The project will also ensure clean water facilities so that the children who spend all their days there can be safe from bad quality drinking water.
Through your big-hearted purchases, you have not only ensured clean and safe drinking water to your loved ones, you have also helped us bring joy to the many children that will benefit from this project.
