To all prospective Independent Representatives in East and Sub-Saharan Africa, the world is your oyster!

That was the message at the QNET East Africa official opening in front of dignitaries, QNET Managers and Independent Representatives in our sparkling new offices in the Rwandan Capital, Kigali, over the weekend.

The event is the culmination of a huge amount of hard work between the Rwandan Government and QNET to create a strong base for QNET in East and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Attending the opening was VVIP, the Hon. Stella Ford Mugabo, Minister of Cabinet Affairs for the Rwandan Government, as well as representatives from the Rwandan Development Board, Chief Operating Officer Claire Akamanzi and Head of Trade and Manufacturing Eusebe Muhikira.

Our guests were hosted by QNET Regional Director for Africa, Krish Kumar and Associate V-Partners Balajee Kumar and Asha Krishnan, who are the key V Council representatives for the region. V Council members Jeevan Burgani and Doreen Kato also attended.

Speaking to the New Times, Krish Kumar said the Government of Rwanda made it possible for the firm to set foot in their country and he believed that, with their support, QNET has a great opportunity to do business in East Africa.

“We chose to establish our first African office in Rwanda because the country offers a business-friendly environment, sound infrastructure and reliable IT platform. We are very impressed with the entrepreneurial spirit of the people and we see a bright future for QNET in Rwanda and East Africa,” he said.

V Partner Balajee Kumar was sure the opening of the office would be an inspiration to Independent Representatives in the region.

“The new office will definitely boost peoples confidence as they aim for a better life with QNET. Our line of opportunity invites all people no matter their origin to come forward and work together to uplift their social status,”  he said.

The pledge by QNET to establish itself in Africa is being met with open arms. The grand opening was covered by national TV news and national newspaper, The New Times, also covered the story.
