QNET Regional Director for Europe and Russia Mr. Joachim Steffen told media at a breakfast function ahead of the recent Russian Grand Prix that QNET pays great attention to sports because the teamwork it entails is also very important to our success in network marketing.
The inaugural Russian Grand Prix was held at a racing track in the coastal area of Sochi, host of this year’s Winter Olympic Games. At the press event, Joachim commented on various aspects of QNET’s sporting partnerships:
We at QNET are very pleased to be the official direct selling partner of the Marussia F1 Team, which has Russian roots, a partnership which started 4 years ago. It is a difficult time for the team at the moment as medical experts continue to treat Marussia driver Jules Bianchi for serious head injuries. We are praying that he makes a fast recovery and a return to the sport.

Our strategy is to partner with popular sports. At various times and in different countries, the company was involved in the sponsorship of cycling, rugby, football, badminton, volleyball and table tennis.
Coming back to the Marussia F1 Team, it should be noted that the Team takes part in competitions on a very stable basis. This year, Jules Bianchi claimed a historic ninth in Monaco to earn Marussia its first points finish in F1 since its inception as Virgin Racing in 2010. With a new engine partner this season, the team is aiming to find greater success.
In the run-up to the Grand Prix in Russia, QNET organised a series of promotional contests in St. Petersburg, Kirov and Syktyvkar with winners receiving tickets to the F1 in Sochi.
As a company, QNET is interested not only in motor racing. We have accumulated unique experience in sponsoring international sports. Each new partnership enriches this experience and gives us fresh impetus in the development of our business.
QNET’s latest foray in to the world of sports is our sponsorship agreement with Manchester City Football Club in England. It was signed on August 12, 2014, giving the company an added ability to work with new target audiences and offer existing consumers a new experience.
QNET becomes partner of the team for three years, and that will provide countless opportunities for our worldwide network of Independent Representatives (IRs), including those in Russian, to attend games and interact with players.
The philosophy of QNET is based on the desires of ordinary people around the world, the opportunity to start their own business. This is a key factor in the rapid growth of the company. Particularly this factor was identified by managers of Manchester City during the approval of the sponsorship contract.
We are absolutely satisfied with the beginning of our partnership with Manchester City. Our two brands have reached success at the same time. As well as QNET, Manchester City has grown up from a city club into a championship winner.
We believe that people become stronger by working in groups. Our work in QNET is very similar to a football team, and we ourselves as IRs are working like professional football managers. In order to win, we attract the best players, train a lot, formulate strategies, win against our opponents and constantly improve our skills and knowledge of the game.
QNET’s latest football sponsorship is also part of QNET’s mission to touch a billion hearts that that unites the philanthropic and charitable projects of the company around the world.
